  1. NOTE: The Audio Librarian manual is an online manual and can only be
  2. read after starting the program.  After the program is started press
  3. the F1 function key twice to activate the online manual.

  5. Audio Librarian Installation Instructions
  6. =========================================
  7. Audio Librarian is a dos program but is compatible with Win 3.1 and Win
  8. 95.  The program comes with two installation routines. One to install the
  9. program strictly as a dos application. The other routine will install the
  10. program to be run from a program group from Win 3.1 or Windows 95.

  13. DOS INSTALLATION AND START-UP
  14.  
  15. 1. Insert the Audio Librarian disk in the A or B drive as applicable.
  16.  
  17. 2. Type A:\INSTALL or B:\INSTALL as applicable.
  18.  
  19. 3. Follow the on screen instructions.
  20.  
  21. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  22. program, change to the directory where you unzipped the program and type
  23. INSTALL and follow the on screen instructions.
  24.  
  25. To start the program after installation change to the directory where you
  26. installed the program (normally C:\AUDLIB) and type AL and press the
  27. enter key.  To get to the correct directory type the following:
  28.  
  29.                           CD\
  30.                           CD\AUDLIB
  31.                           AL
  32.  
  33. Press the ENTER key after each line above.

  36. WINDOWS 3.1 INSTALLATION and START-UP
  37.  
  38. 1. Start Windows and the Program Manager
  39.  
  40. 2. Choose File|RUN
  41.  
  42. 3.Type A:\SETUP.EXE or B:\SETUP.EXE as applicable.
  43.  
  44. 4. Answer Yes to the question "Install programs in Program Manager?"
  45.  
  46. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  47. program choose FILE|RUN and type the drive and path where the file is
  48. located followed by SETUP.EXE. For example: C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE and follow
  49. the instructions.

  51. To start the program, click the TurboSystemsCo DOS Apps group, then double
  52. click the Audio Librarian icon.  To switch between full screen mode and a
  53. dos window mode press the ALT + ENTER key.

  55. WINDOWS 95 INSTALLATION and START-UP
  56.  
  57. 1. From Windows 95 Click the Start button, point to Settings, then click
  58. the Control Panel.
  59.  
  60. 2. On the Control Panel, double click Add/Remove programs.
  61.  
  62. 3. Follow the on screen instructions.
  63.  
  64. 4. Answer Yes to the question: "Install programs in Program Manager?"
  65.  
  66. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  67. program start the Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory where
  68. you unzipped the file and double click on SETUP.EXE. Follow the on
  69. screen instructions and the program will be installed.

  71. To start the program, click the start button, then Programs, then
  72. TurboSystemsCo DOS Apps then double click the Audio Librarian icon.
  73. Press the ALT + ENTER key to switch between full screen and dos window
  74. mode for the program.
